Why choosing a good password is important
It is crucial that the information held about you and your clients can only be viewed by you.
To help you with choosing, and maintaining the integrity of your password, we offer you the following guidelines on good password practice.
Do's
- Passwords are case sensitive and must be at least 12 characters long.

It must contain at least 3 out of the 4 of the following:
- Lowercase
- Uppercase
- Number
- Symbol
- Choose a password you can remember without writing it down.
- Your password should be unique to this account; don't use the same password everywhere.
- Change your password on a regular basis.
- Change your password immediately if you suspect someone knows it.
Dont's
- Don't write down your password.
- Don't tell anyone your password.
- Don't share your password with anyone including your colleagues.
- Don't use obvious character and number sequences, for example, words, names, telephone numbers, car registration numbers, birthdays.
- Don't use a password that you use elsewhere.
- Don't use a password that could be associated with you.
- Don't choose obvious joined words, such as 1HighSt, MyDog, TopSecret.
If you forget your password, you'll have a limited number of attempts before your account is locked. If this happens you will need to re-register to use this service.
